Nathan had so much fun playing in the snow, that in the background picture he was very relaxed and I thought he was going to fall asleep! Doesn't he make you just want to pick him up and give him a warm hug? Notice the socks on his arms - he would not keep his gloves on his hands so I had to put socks over them!!! Today Aryana's cord fell off and we were able to give her her first real bath! Unfortunately we gave it to her when she was sleepy so she did not really enjoy it. Tomorrow we will try to bathe her when she is awake and ready to have some fun! Notice the birthmark on her back! She will not need to get a trendy tattoo when she grow up!!!Tuesday, January 15, 2008
The boys had a lot of fun playing out in the snow today. Nathan is always game for any exciting adventure we go on. Papa gave us a toboggan and ski's and Grandpa Bruce made the kids a super-duper toboggan! It just glides right along and doesn't tip! Oh yea, Collin picked up the pine cone for his Mommy!!!Monday, January 14, 2008

Kathy Jankowski lost her mother on November 5, 2007. I will always remember her as such a friendly person. She always welcomed you into her home with open hands and a bright smile! She was such a happy person! Karen sent me the following Memorial and I learned more about Irene and thought it was important to pass on to you. Please take a few minutes to read it...
The family of Irene Jankowski wishes to inform you of her passing. She passed away on November 5, 2007. She was 84 years old.She attended the Detroit Day School for the Deaf and graduated from Mackenzie High School in Detroit. Irene was an active member of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf, the Detroit Association of the Deaf and the Lutheran Church for the Deaf in Michigan for many years, as well as the Gulf Coast Deaf Service Center in Florida.
As a student, she was a champion speller and went all the way to the Michigan State competition basing her spelling solely on what she lip-read.
A loving, caring woman with a cheerful smile, she is missed by her husband, Alex; daughter Kathy; Karen Goss; and grandson, Vitali.
The Irene Jankowski Memorial Fund has been established in her memory at the American Association of the Deaf-Blind. Donations may be sent to: The Irene Jankowski Memorial Fund at: The American Association of the Deaf-Blind, 8630 Fenton Street, Suite 121 , Silver Spring, MD 20910

The "Generation's" pictures bug spread throughout the family and Grandma was very happy to participate. I copied these pictures from Aunt Evelyn's blog so we could have all the "Generation Pictures" together! The entire family had a great time capturing the pictures. My thanks to my cousin Donna for getting the bug going!!!
