Merry Christmas Eve!

On December 17, 2008, Kathy's father Alex passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with Kathy and Karen during this difficult time. I met Alex several times and he had a heart of gold, a hugh smile and warm loving hands. He truly would light up the room with his love!

Today, Bryce and Jaxson came over while their Mom got her hair done. The boys had so much fun playing together - watching movies and eating popcorn!!!

Tonight, Bruce and I took Kristina and the boys to Downtown Rochester to see the Beautiful lights on the buildings! Collin fell asleep on the way there so he had to sit in the stroller - but he still enjoyed the lights. It was so super cold that my fingers were numb by the time we got back to the car! It was so fun to share the experience with the boys!

Also tonight, we remember my brother Guy who would have celebrated his 53rd birthday today! He is always close in my heart!

Collin was so impressed with Debbie's hugh Nutcracker last year, that we had to make sure to get a picture of him with it this year! Boy, you can really see how much he has grown! He also has started his own Nutcracker collection!!!

Aryana is 11 months old...

Michelle gave me a great idea --- cut out the kids profiles in wood and put their name and year on them for Christmas ornaments! I am waiting for her profiles to arrive. Here are Collin, Nathan and Aryana! I have yet to cut them out. I will post them when I do!

Yesterday, Grandma Brahm celebrated her 94th Birthday with Karen and Kathy! Happy Birthday Grandma, you are a blessing to all of us!!!

After Church on Sunday, Collin asked his Mom if she thought Grandma Connie missed him? When Kristina called, of course I said "Yes!" So he came to visit me while Mom and Dad went to do some shopping. He was in such a good mood and was a little ham for the camera! Even though I babysit him everyday, it is still special to see him on the weekend and be a real Grandma!!!

Last weekend we went to the Octagon Barn in the thumb area of Michigan. We all had such a great time and the turnout was HUGE! We will definitely will be putting this on our list of tractor shows to attend next year! Thanks Mom and Dad for all the work you put in to make our visit the BEST! Love Ya!!!

Mom and Dad's beloved dog Scooter passed away peacefully on September 5, 2008. He will be greatly missed for all the love and protection he gave the family. RIP Scooter.

Even Aryana likes to play "Dress-up"! My neighbor gave me this dress for her and she looks so beautiful in it!!!

Today, I saw this amazing white caterpillar on my driveway and showed it to Collin. He was quite impressed by it! On our walk we found this empty body of a bug attached to a telephone pole. I guess it was our bug day today!!!

Heather, Aryana and I went to Open House at the Oakland County International Airport. We saw Jason and Kristina for just a few minutes and Collin was very excited to see us. The open house was fun and Aryana was able to charm herself onto a couple of small planes!!!

Today I put Aryana in the Dubble Bubble bucket and she literally stood up! I couldn't believe it. I told Heather she is going to walk before she crawls! She has absolutely no use for tummy time!!!

Aryana just loves Grand-Auntie Debbie's green beans!!! She says, "They taste better than the ones in the little jars"!!! Thank you for the beans Debbie!!!

The kids had a lot of fun playing on Great-Grandma's garden kneeler. Her friend Susie got this for her at a garage sale and I put a little spray paint on it to spruce it up. This is what she really wanted for her birthday! And now that her leg is healed, she can finally get back to gardening!!!

The kids had fun playing in the toy bins outside! Aryana always seems to wave her hands around and she has so many expressions it is fun to put words in her mouth!!!

I went over to Jason and Kristina's today and the boys showed me how they ride the rocking horse their mother got when she was 3 months old! Boy, they were a little rough! This little horse has been around for a long time - right Kristina!!!

Look how adorable our little Jessa is! Her Mom bought her a belly dancing dress and she loves to play with all the buttons on it. You can just tell she feels so beautiful. I miss you Jessa Lou!!!

Today we visited Grandma Brahm in the hospital. She is now in rehab and can wear here own clothes. Grandma broke her right hip and Mom broke her right ankle. I think I need to drink lots of milk!!!

(From Evelyn's Blog) Grandma was getting ready for bed last night. She turned off the light in the family room and tripped on her shoes that were laying on the floor. Bob and I had just gone to bed when we heard a big thud coming from downstairs. When we got downstairs she was lying on the floor and unable to move. Her right leg was rotated out to the right which usually indicates a broken hip. We called 911 and EMS came and transported her to Providence Hospital. She has a broken hip and is supposed to have surgery today. Please keep her in your prayers. She is in room 715 bed 1. 248-849-6727
