I put finger paints on Nathan's hands and he really enjoyed smearing it on the paper! Actually it came out pretty good. I scanned it and used it for the background.

Collin and I check in on our Writing Spider daily! She is always in the same place, which is right next to the sidewalk. It is amazing that she stays there. Thanks to Debbie for quickly identifying the species! Now I know she is harmless and probably will stay until fall unless someone messes with her. I also learned I will not put my hand in Hostas without gloves on any more!!!

Collin and I are watching a writing spider that has moved into my hosta plant out front. It is about the size of a 50 cent piece! It is a very beautiful spider!

Collin and Bryce used to have fun playing with my colanders on their heads. When Collin got them out and put one on Nathan's head he was more then happy to go along with it!
Collin was playing in the sand box and Nathan was sitting near by in his saucer watching with envy. He made it very clear that he wanted to join Collin in the sand box. So I placed in the the sand box and he was absolutely thrilled! He never made any attempt to eat the sand like I thought he would. It was fun!!!

...When I sent her a "Hi Mom" picture of her gourd, she sent me a picture of her Gourden 2 because she thought her gourd was bigger than mine! It was very funny! Actually, both of the gourds are from her garden! They look great don't they!!! How many people do you know who put faces on their gourds?

Everyone had a great time at the Detroit Tiger's Baseball Game!

Riding the Baseball Ferris Wheel! Oh what fun!!!
Amazingly Collin was not afraid of the Big Tigers! He has since seen a commercial for baseball and saw the Tiger and happily pointed it out to me!

Kristina, Bruce and I took Collin to his first Tiger's Baseball Game in Detroit on Friday night. He was in awe of "The Big City!"

The other day I was looking through some old photos and came across this picture of me on a swing when I was 2 years old. When we went to visit Aunt Evelyn after Uncle Louie's funeral she told me she had a swing that Collin could play on. She said even Grandma has a swing. Collin and I were enjoying a peaceful time on Grandma's swing when I remembered the picture I had just seen. Collin was more than happy to pose for me! I love recreating old poses - there were so few pictures when we were young!

Collin and Madison were playing together in this little plastic cart when Collin decided to do one of his "smile for the camera" smiles! The very next second, Madison did the same thing! It was so cute!
On Nathan's 1/2 Birthday it was 95 degrees out and very humid. He and Collin play in Grandpa Bruce's plastic tub to cool off. When Chloe and Madison came to visit, they were more than happy to join in the fun! Kids are just happy to get wet!
